Dynil

Description:
Dynil is a dense ultra-pliable black flexivinyl one pound per square foot acoustic barrier. Dynil Barrier is designed to be installed during the construction or remodeling of residential and commercial dwellings.   Dynil can withstand temperature ranges between -40 ºF to +220 ºF (- 40 ºC to +105 ºC).

Acoustic Properties:
Dynil is a dense, ultra-pliable acoustic barrier that prevents sound transmission through walls, floors and ceilings.   Dynil works to prevent unwanted noise transfer outside the room while creating an optimal acoustic environment in the room.

Applications:
Dynil makes any room quieter and is ideal for the home theater, home office, nursery, exercise room, study, laundry room, and bedroom.   Dynil is also perfect for noise reduction in business office situations. It can also be used in other applications requiring an acoustic barrier material.

Installation:
Dynil is installed between the wall and ceiling studs and sheet rock and between floor joists and sub floors on floors.   Cut Dynil to this length with razor knife or scissors.   On standard wall construction, apply Dynil in two horizontal strips across the studs.   Make sure the Dynil is loose and can move freely.   Attach with stapler.   Make sure to slightly overlap sections. Attach drywall according to manufacturers instructions. Similar methods can be used for floor and ceiling installation.
